Electronic Health Library of BC (e-HLbc)
The Electronic Health Library of BC provides the academic and health care community of British Columbia with easy access to online health library resources. The purpose of the e-HLbc is to support and improve practice, education, and research in the health sciences.
e-HLbc has more than 40 members, comprising post-secondary institutions, health authorities, government ministries, and professional health associations, and benefits approximately 300,000 health care professionals, educators, researchers, students, and policy makers in British Columbia and the Yukon.
. . .
e-HLbc partner libraries are also members of the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL), and the BC Electronic Library Network (BC ELN). Licensing is the one area potentially affected by shared membership, and e-HLbc has regular contact with other consortia to ensure that license overlap is avoided.
For more information about the consortia, please refer to the e-HLbc website.
