Founded in 1898, ASTM is one of the world’s largest standards-developing organizations.

Through this agreement, institutions may subscribe to the following products:

ASTM Standards-only PLUS
Provides access to over 13,000 active ASTM standards along with historical and redlined versions. This content continues to be available through the ASTM Compass® https://compass.astm.org platform.

ASTM Complete Standards and Engineering Digital Library (SEDL) PLUS
Offers access to the full range of ASTM resources, including over 13,000 standards, approximately 1,500 books, and more than 47,000 articles, papers, and chapters spanning over 100 years of ASTM’s technical research. Features include:

  • Access to active, historical, and withdrawn standards (including redlined versions)

  • Keyword and standard number search functionality

  • Immediate access to titles, scopes, abstracts, and referenced documents

  • Full-text standards in PDF or HTML

  • Instructional videos for select test methods

  • A journals collection that includes five current peer‑reviewed titles (Journal of Testing and Evaluation, Materials Performance and Characterization, Advances in Civil Engineering Materials, Geotechnical Testing Journal, and Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing Systems) and backfile access to four discontinued titles (Cement, Concrete, and Aggregates, Journal of ASTM International, Journal of Composites Technology & Research, and Journal of Forensic Sciences).

All document content (books, articles, and journals) is transitioning to the new ASTM Digital Library Platform at https://dl.astm.org, while the ASTM Compass® platform will continue to host standards.

A variety of third-party standards packages are also available as add-ons.
