Medici.tv offers the world’s largest catalogue of classical music, opera, and dance on video, featuring over 3,500 musical works and more than 2,700 films - including full-length concerts, operas, ballets, documentaries, and masterclasses. With performances dating from the 1940s to today, the platform showcases leading artists, ensembles, and productions from renowned venues such as the Royal Concertgebouw, Bolshoi Theatre, and Salzburg Festival. Over 150 live events are streamed each year, and the catalogue is updated with approximately 200 new programs annually.

The Medici.tv Jazz add-on broadens the platform’s reach with a rich and growing collection of jazz content, including thousands of filmed concerts, artist profiles, and documentaries. Spanning classic jazz to contemporary styles, the collection features legendary musicians as well as new voices, captured at major international festivals and venues. Ideal for programs in jazz performance, history, and theory, the Jazz collection provides educators and students with high-quality audiovisual resources that complement curriculum and support deeper engagement with jazz as a dynamic and evolving art form.

Live Programming

In addition to its extensive on-demand catalogue, Medici.tv offers over 150 live events each year, featuring world-class concerts, festivals, competitions, and staged productions. Performances are streamed from top venues around the globe, often in real time or shortly after broadcast.

Highlights include major classical music festivals such as Verbier, Lucerne, Salzburg, and Aspen, alongside standout jazz sets from the Montreal and San Francisco Jazz Festivals. Signature orchestral events include the Berlin Philharmonic’s season finale at the Waldbühne with Gustavo Dudamel, the Europakonzert with Riccardo Muti, and the Vienna Philharmonic’s Summer Night Concert with Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
